• GSSA final meeting, a picnic banquet!! It will be at *7 o'clock*, on *DAVIS FIELD*!  We will be honoring Jesse Duncan (Cherries Jubilee), the winner of our Perry Patterson award this year!

• GSSA Elections were held in the GSSA Lounge, Wednesday, April 23rd at 8pm!
• WFU Gay-Straight Student Alliance presents "Homosexuality and Christianity: is Gay okay with God?" A dialogue with Justin Lee ('00) addressing views of homosexuality in the Christian faith. Wednesday, 16 April 2008 at 8:00pm DeTamble Auditorium, Tribble Hall.
• GSSA went to see the Wake Forest University Theatre's performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic opera “The Gondoliers”  on Wednesday, April 8th on the Main Stage.
• Dr. Shannon Gilreath spoke on Wednesday, March 26th at 8pm in Benson 218! He is an professor at theWFU Law school and is on the cutting edge of GLBT politics. He spoke on the current political climate and what we can anticipate with each of the candidates for the upcoming election.
• Dinner at Jason's Deli! Meet in the GSSA lounge at 8 to carpool! Everyone will have to pay their own way, but there are lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well and low prices (and Maggie Moos is next door!)
• Vagina Monologues, Wednesday, March 5th!
  MEET AT 7:30 in the LOUNGE SO WE CAN GET SEATS BEFORE IT SELLS OUT!

• NoteWorthy, a part of the Triad Men's Chorus, performed at 7pm in Detamble, there was a short discussion with them following the performance.

• Friday, February15th - 5th ANNUAL DEMON DRAG SHOW at 8pm in Benson 401! A fun evening and great fundraiser for AIDS Care Service!
• Wednesday, February 13th - Site visit to AIDS Care Service House at 4pm and weekly meeting at 8pm.
• Wednesday, January 23rd - GAY JEOPARDY! Come test your knowlegde of GLBT facts! GSSA Lounge (Benson 208) at 8pm.Wednesday, December 5th - STUDY BREAK! Come construct graham cracker structures at 8pm in the GSSA Lounge (Benson 208).
• The new shipment of "gay? fine by me!" t-shirts are in! These can be purchased from GSSA for $7
• Wednesday, November 28th - Beth Hoagland will be teaching and demonstrating the art of relaxing massage at 8pm in the GSSA Lounge (Benson 208).
• Friday, November 2nd - Join GSSA in the Lounge (Benson 208) at 7pm for the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" feel free to bring food and wear a costume for this interactive movie!Wednesday, October 31st - Join GSSA in the Lounge (Benson 208) at 8pm for Halloween crafts and mask-making!
• Wednesday, October 24th - Dinner at Village Tavern. Meet in the GSSA Lounge at 7pm to carpool over for a 7:30pm reservation.
• Wednesday, October 17th - Frank Benedetti and Gary Trowbridge, life partners for over 40 years, will be visiting the GSSA weekly meeting in the GSSA Lounge (Benson 208) at 8pm.
• Wednesday, October 10th - Coming Out Day Party! Join us at 8pm in the GSSA Lounge (Benson 208) to celebrate, discuss coming out issues and prepare for National Coming Out Day on Thursday! On Thursday, GSSA will have a table in front of the Fresh Foods Company (the pit) for National Coming Out Day! Come by the table and support us!
• Wednesday, October 3rd - Movie Night, "The Bradfords Tour America"
  This documentary puts an entertaining spin on the issue of homosexuality and religion in America. The movie is 50-minutes long, and will be followed by a discussion.Saturday, September 29th NC PRIDE! Meet in the lounge at 10am to carpool to Duke University East Campus in Durham.

• Wednesday, September 19th -Annual Safe Sex lecture presented by Triad Health Project at 8pm!
• Friday, September 14th - GSSA HOMECOMING RECEPTION, 8pm to 10pm in the GSSA Lounge (Benson 218)
