• 28 Mar- Actress and Greensboro native Jennifer Lanier performed her original, one woman show at Wake Forest University.
• 24 Mar- Food drive for the Triad Health Project at Whole Foods in Winston Salem.
• 21 Mar- Breakfast in the GSSA Lounge
• 14 Feb- Movie and Chocolate Potluck in the GSSA Lounge at 8pm.
• 23 Feb- DEMON DRAG SHOW!!!!
  Our fourth annual Demon Drag Show took place in Benson 401 from 9 to midnight
• 7 Feb-Craft Night in the GSSA Lounge at 8pm

• 24 Jan-Movie, "Imagine Me & You," in the GSSA Lounge at 8pm.
• 17 Jan-GSSA will kick off the spring semester at tonight at 8pm, in Benson 410 with a very special visit by Kevin Jennings, founder and Executive Director of GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network.
• 29 Nov-Stress Relief session led by a professional masseuse in the GSSA Lounge at 8pm.
• 15 Nov- Potluck Thanksgiving Dinner in the GSSA Lounge at 8pm!
• 25 Oct- GAY Jeopardy in the GSSA Lounge at 8pm!
• 4 Oct- GSSA and other campus organizations held a March Against Hate. The event began with a candle-lit walk departing from Wait Chapel at 8 p.m. and culminated on the Mag Quad with a forum including speakers and the reading of annonymous statements.

• On Wednesday, April 12th, GSSA held elections for the Executive!
• On Wednesday, April 5th, GSSA attended the University Theatre production of "Kiss Me Kate."
• On Wednesday, March 29th, Beth Hoagland taught GSSA students massage and relaxation techniques.
• On Wednesday, March 22nd, alumnus Justin Lee of the gay christian network spoke to GSSA.
• On Wednesday, March 15th, professor Mary Dalton led a discussion on "Playing Gay: Depictions of Gay Men and Lesbians in Contemporary Film and Television."
• On Wednesday, February 22nd, GSS attended the "Vagina Monologues" in the Ring Theatre at WFU.

• On Wednesday, February 15th in the GSSA Lounge, Frank Bennedetti and Gary Trowbridge talked about their 40+ years together as a couple. (Learn more about Frank and Gary)
• On February 8th Perry Patterson and Mary Gerardy presented "A History of the WFU GSSA, 1990-2006"

• The 3rd Annual "Demon Drag" raised $1,700 for AIDS Care Service on Friday, February 3rd, in the Benson Student Center at 8pm! Thanks to everyone who made this such a successful event.
• On January 25th we had Olive Garden for dinner in the lounge and prepared for Demon Drag!
• On Wednesday, January18th we went to see the movie BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN in Greensboro!
• On Wednesday, November 30th we went to see the movie RENT!
• Professor Shannon Gilreath, Assistant Director, Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American Law Program at the Wake Forest School of Law, spoke on Wednesday November 16th at 8pm in the GSSA Lounge to on what a Roberts court will mean to GLBT rights.
• Our National Coming Out Day Party was Wednesday October 12th in the GSSA Lounge!
• Our National Coming Out Day outdoor activities had to be re-scheduled due to inclement weather on Tuesday October 11th.
• Our dinner "outing" this semester was to the Foothills Brewery on 4th Street in downtown Winston-Salem on Wednesday October 5th!
• The GSSA annual homecoming event was Friday September 23rd at 7:30pm in the GSSA Lounge, Benson 218!
• On Thursday, September 8th, PFLAG Winston Salem awarded the WFU GSSA with the 2005 Kaleidoscope School Award! The Kaleidoscope Awards Banquet recognizes and honors an individual, a business, a school, and a faith community that best represent and incorporate the PFLAGWS Mission Statement in their respective organizations and in the community at large.
• Our annual "Safe Sex for the Same Sex" program was September 7th at 8pm in Benson 410.
• "Gay Bowling" was held on August 31st at 7pm.
• The first meeting of GSSA was Wednesday, August 24th at 8pm in Benson 218.

• The GSSA Executive Board for 2005-2006.
• Weekly meetings are every Wednesday in the GSSA Lounge at 8pm during the Fall and Spring semesters!
• The GSSA lounge in 218 Benson is open to all GSSA members! Keycard access is required.
  To get keycard access you must attend two GSSA events.
